Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition Announced, Releasing December 12

Alongside Not a Hero DLC and End of Zoe DLC.

Capcom has confirmed that Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition, which includes the base game as well as all of its DLC, will be launching in North America and Europe on December 12. But wait a minute, I hear you say- the game and all of its DLC? All of its DLC isn’t even available yet!

You’re right on that front- but it looks like Capcom will also be making Not a Hero and End of Zoe, two brand new DLC packs for the game (including some which was announced all the way back in April, but has been incognito ever since), available to everyone on that same day- what’s more, it seems like this DLC will be absolutely free for everyone.

For fans who have wanted to see Chris Redfield’s return to the franchise, this means we only have a few more months to wait. For others who wanted to play the game but haven’t jumped on yet, Resident Evil 7: Gold Edition may be the best version of the game available, so it would be wise to just wait for that.
