Resident Evil Village is due out some time in 2021, and though Capcom have already shared quite a bit of info on the upcoming survival horror sequel, plenty more is still in the pipeline. Back when they were revealed the game at the PS5 reveal event in June, they said that they would be sharing another update on the game in a couple of months, and now we may have a clearer idea of what that might entail.
Over on Twitter, AestheticGamer (or Dusk Golem) – who is a known Resident Evil leaker with a proven track record – said that another Residen Evil 8 trailer will be coming in August. As he points out, given that Capcom had previously said that they’d have more to share about RE8 in August, it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that a new trailer is in the pipeline as well. The only question is how extensive that trailer will be, and what new information we can expect it to reveal. Rumours suggest that Resident Evil Village is going to have a greater focus on exploration that other games in the series, so perhaps that’s something Capcom could highlight.
August, of course, is also when a new State of Play is strongly rumoured to take place, and given the fact that Resident Evil Village was revealed at the PS5 event, it’s possible that the game will show up in another PS5-focused show once more.
Resident Evil Village is due out in 2021 for PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
I feel like this shouldn't be very surprising as Capcom already has said there'd be more RE8 stuff in August, but yes there will be a new RE8 trailer next month, along with some other things. https://t.co/0P1z513Hez
