Super Smash Bros. Ultimate became the best selling fighting game of all time in record time earlier in the year. The game has become a one title video game history crossover. There’s still one more DLC character to be revealed that everyone is wondering about, but in the meantime, the classic survival horror series, Resident Evil, got a little bit of representation in an unplayable form.

It seems that for a limited time, you’ll be able to get spirits based on some of the franchise’s most iconic characters. For 5 days, you’ll be able to get spirits of Chris, Jill, Leon and Wesker. Is this also a hint that Resident Evil may be lucky enough to get that last DLC spot? Only time will tell, but for now you’ll just have to be happy with this.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available now for Nintendo Switch. The Resident Evil Spirit board event will begin on November 29th and last for 5 days.
