Resident Evil Village Official Survey Asks About Naming, Demo, Platforms, And More

Give your thoughts directly to Capcom.

Resident Evil 8 Village

Next year we will get the eighth mainline installment in Capcom’s beloved horror franchise with Resident Evil Village. The game will be a direct continuation of Resident Evil 7, and is looking likely to come some time closer to the middle of next year. In the meantime, you can give Capcom your thoughts on what’s been unveiled of it so far with a new survey.

Capcom sends out these official surveys for its franchises pretty frequently, and this one aims to get your thoughts on Village‘s reveal. It asks a variety of questions, such as what you know about the game, how you feel about the unusual naming of this entry, how interested you are in the first person perspective, and what platforms you plan to get it on.

Interestingly, when asking that last part, there is mention of an Xbox Series X digital-only console, despite there not being one officially announced. Take from that what you will. A few questions even seem to allude to a demo, which would be unsurprising, since the last three games in the series all received some type of demo.

Resident Evil Village will release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X ,and PC sometime in 2021. You can see the link for the survey via the series’ official Twitter below.
