After a detailed behind-the-scenes episode about the combat in Rise of the Ronin, Team Ninja has released a new vignette trailer. It showcases each weapon type, their techniques and how players can utilize them in different situations. Check it out below.

Close combat weapons include the katana, bayonet and spear, while ranged weapons include firearms like revolvers, flamethrowers, bows and muskets. You can even fire on enemies from the glider. The Grappling Hook is also a powerful tool, allowing players to grapple explosive barrels into crowds of enemies, close the distance or assassinate them from stealth.

However, as with Nioh 1 and 2, the weapons start to sing when using them in different combos. For example, you could smack an enemy with the Grappling Hook, shoot them a few times with a revolver and close in for some finishing strikes with the katana. It should be interesting to see what other combos players come up with.

Rise of the Ronin is out on March 22nd for PS5. Head here for more details.
