Rocket League Developers Teasing A Basketball Mode

As if the game could somehow become even MORE AWESOME.

Rocket League is a brilliant gladiatorial contest of rocket powered cars playing soccer. It sounds remarkably stupid, but it comes together to create what is one of the most compelling experiences of this generation so far.

And now, developers Psyonix may be getting ready to add to that awesomeness- on their Twitter account, they posted something that seems to indicate that basketball may be coming to Rocket League. Given how exemplary the support Rocket League has been since its launch, we can probably expect this mode to be added to the current game, rather than it hinting a sequel. Assuming that basketball is as full fledged as soccer is, then this might even be a full paid expansion pack for the game.

I’d pay for it! Rocket League is already awesome, and if this lets me have more crazy shenanigans? Well then, sign me up!

Rocket League is available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
