The game that just won't stop.

Rocket League

Rocket League is the surprise hit of the generation, a game that just will not atop selling. It’s sold millions and has millions of active players on Xbox One, PS4, and PC, ever sine it launched digitally for those platforms- but apparently, it had room to grow still, because the recent physical release of the game has gone on to sell a million copies worldwide as well.

This adds to the 9.5 million copies the game had already sold digitally- according to what Psyonix told GamesIndustry.biz, ‘many’ of these sales for the physical version are for first time players, as they are making and playing on entirely new accounts. This means that the game’s popularity indeed continues to grow.

Rocket League is currently available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. A Nintendo Switch version is currently under consideration, but there are no further announcements to make on that front just yet.
