Rocket League is Celebrating its Seventh Anniversarsy on July 7 with Birthday Ball Event

Developer Psyonix has announced a new event to celebrate Rocket League's seventh anniversary, with new limited-time game modes and event challenges.

Psyonix has announced that, in celebrating the seventh anniversary of Rocket League on July 7, it will be kicking off a new in-game event called Birthday Ball on July 6. The Birthday Ball event will feature its own challenges and rewards.

Completing the new event challenges in Birthday Ball will allow players to unlock up to 300 Credits as rewards. Other challenge rewards include the Golden Goat title, the Precious Metal Avatar border, and Golden Eggs. Players can use Golden Eggs to unlock items from Champions Series 1-4.

The Birthday Ball event will also bring with it two limited-time game modes: 2v2 Heatseeker and Knockout. Heatseeker will be available from July 6 to July 13, and Knockout will be available from July 13 to July 19. During the event, anniversary-themed items, including a new car, new decal, and a Top Hat: Anniversary Edition topper will be rotating through the in-game item shop.

Rocket League is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
