Rocket League Will Be Getting Mario and Metroid Themed Cars On Nintendo Switch

Psyonix is making the Nintendo Switch version of the game incredibly enticing.

Psyonix will be investing in the Nintendo Switch version of Rocket League that much more enticing and compelling for players on the fence, by offering special Mario and Luigi themed cars, named the Mario NSR and Luigi NSR. You will get the former if you are on the Orange Team, and the latter if you are on the Blue Team. Check them out below, they look sweet.

But the crème de la crème here, and possibly across all Rocket League special cars ever, will be the Metroid themed car on offer, which looks like Samus’ ship fused with the Batman animated series’ take on the iconic Batmobile. It will have two different variations, styled after different Varia Suits.

Both cars will have their own unique trails, and will be available only on the Nintendo Switch- as happens with console exclusive content in this game, if you are playing with an Xbox One or PC player (because the Switch version will offer cross platform play), they will see a generic car instead.

Rocket League is due out on the Nintendo Switch later this year.
