Rocket League‘s next major update, Starbase Arc, is available to download and play now- the update adds a new space themed arena (called the Starbase Arc), as well as a new space themed car. And because Psyonix are awesome, they are releasing this new update for absolutely free for everyone.
That said, some paid DLC will be accompanying it- this DLC will basically come with fancy visual fitments for your car, and will cost $1.99. It’s no biggie, and if you like the game, supporting it with this amount, honestly a pittance, shouldn’t be a problem. Not to mention the fact that your car will just look cool with the fancy wings and all on.

Rocket League is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC- the PS4 and PC versions of the game have cross platform play, and the Xbox One and PC versions of the game have cross platform play. Full cross platform play has currently not come to the game.
