It’s quite ingenuous and we don’t know how Ubisoft but all you’ve got to do in Rocksmith is plug your guitar and start playing the chords like you normally would, following the cues on screen.
Considering one of the criticisms against Guitar Hero and Rockband was the inability to really teach people about playing the instruments they were using (pfft).
Rocksmith throws that out the window and according to actual guitar players (who you can hear in the trailer), it actually feels like the real deal.
Rocksmith releases this October for PS3, XBox 360 and PC.
