Whether we’ll see a new mainline RollerCoaster Tycoon game anytime soon (if ever) is anyone’s guess, but thankfully, Atari is at least keeping the series alive with regular re-releases- with another one of those coming soon to the Nintendo Switch.

More specifically, Atari has announced that it’s bringing RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic to the Nintendo Switch on December 5. For those unaware, RCT Classic is a collection that combines RollerCoaster Tycoon and RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 into a single experience. Atari says the port has been optimized for controller support on the Switch. Check out the trailer below for a look at what the port will look like on the platform.

Back in 2020, Frontier Foundry brought RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition to Nintendo’s platform, so Switch players who are RCT fans have had plenty to be pleased about in recent years.

RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic is currently available on PC, Mac, iOS, and Android.
