There have been lots of ups and downs with Resident Evil 6 lately. A few days back, an anonymous Capcom rep revealed that Capcom will be announcing Resident Evil 6 at TGS, and that the game will be returning to the series’ roots, and will be “brutally scary.”
Earlier yesterday, a trailer for RE6 was leaked, and a Capcom Japan rep confirmed that it was, in fact, the trailer that Capcom was about to show in its conference. And soon after, a Capcom US rep said it was a fake.
And now, another rumour has surfaced that the firm will definitely be announcing Resident Evil 6 at Capcom’s Biohazard 15th Anniversary conference – taking place at 3:10 PM JST or 2:10 AM East Coast in North America. This news comes from several forums (NeoGAF and Hell Descent).
However, apparently won’t show any gameplay footage, or any footage at all. They will just be announcing the game officially and giving some details.
