Take this info with a massive grain of salt, but it looks like it’s real. It has been rumoured that Project Gotham Racing will be heading to the Xbox 720, and will be shown when Microsoft will unveil their next-gen system.

STFUandPlay reports that the game will hit the Xbox 720 and Microsoft has given the go ahead for the project. It’s currently also in development at Lucid Games, which is a new studio.

Polygon writer Arthur Gies has also confirmed this information, but I can’t say whether he is kidding or not, but what the heck.

“These rumors are accurate, to my knowledge,” he wrote on NeoGAF.

The new team is founded by ex-Criterion and Bizzare Creations staff, it has been revealed, and will be a launch title for the Xbox 720.

Sony will also announce GT6 and something from Guerrilla Games, it has been mentioned. They are all rumours for now, so again, don’t take them seriously.
