RUMOUR: Prey 2 cancelled

Posted By | On 24th, Mar. 2012

Reports say that developer Human Head has cancelled Prey 2, a title that’s been in development a long time. That’s according to Dutch site PSFocus (thanks, GameSpot). The site supposedly got this news from ‘multiple reliable sources’. Bethesda, however, refused to comment.

The report also says that Bethesda cancelled viewings of the game a few weeks back during their GDC conferences.

If this is true, it’d indeed be a bummer. The game was looking great from what we’d seen so far, and it had been in development a long time. A lot of people had been looking forward to it too.

To see it get canned now would be heart-breaking. Anyway, stay tuned. We’ll keep you updated as more info comes our way.
