Rune Factory 3 Special

Marvelous is working on several new Rune Factory games like Rune Factory 6 and Project Dragon, with the former set in Western Adonea and the latter in the “Land of the East.” In the meantime, fans can look forward to Rune Factory 3 Special, a remaster of the classic 2009 RPG.

It’s coming to Nintendo Switch and PC and features many new features. A new trailer is available, which highlights the different potential companions that protagonist Micah can engage with. There are 11 in total, the series’ highest, and include the somewhat standoffish Raven and the apprentice witch Marian to fishing enthusiast Carmen and the vain Sofia.

Thanks to Newlywed Mode, players can pursue new adventures after a wedding with a companion. There’s also a new Hell difficulty for veterans to spice things up.

Rune Factory 3 Special launches on September 5th for Nintendo Switch and PC. Stay tuned for more gameplay and details until then.
