SaGa Emerald Beyond Announced for Nintendo Switch Release in 2024

The next game in Square Enix’s SaGa franchise has been announced. Titled SaGa Emerald Beyond, the game was unveiled during the recent Nintendo Direct. SaGa Emerald Beyond is slated for release on the Nintendo Switch some time in 2024. Check out the trailer below.

The trailer for SaGa Emerald Beyond gives us a good look at the turn-based RPG gameplay in the upcoming title. The trailer also showed of a host of different characters that players can choose between, with a good level of variety across the characters.

SaGa Emerald Beyond will feature 17 different interconnected worlds, all of which join up to form one gigantic story. Players will be able to make different choices throughout the various campaigns, affecting the overall story in the game.

When it comes to combat, the turn-based system in SaGa Emerald Beyond will allow players to manipulate the timeline of the fight, altering the order in which turns are taken. Players can manipulate the timeline into delaying enemy attacks and queuing up their own attacks to form bigger combos.
