Saints Row 4 could be released on next gen consoles

Saints Row 4 has been announced for the PS3, Xbox 360, and the PC, and considering the timing of the game’s release, it would have been nice if the game was actually released on the next-gen consoles. The game isn’t in development for the Wii U, though, so you probably know which consoles I am talking about.

“To be honest, we didn’t have much of the consoles for a long time and our target date was always where it is now, in August. Either Sony or Microsoft have put any dates on their stuff so we don’t like to work on platforms that we’re not sure are even going to be out,” Design Director Scott Phillips told VG247.

“It could come out on that eventually but that’s not our plan right now.”

It would be amazing to play the game on the PS4 or Xbox 720 but they, there’s always the PC version for people who want more visual fidelity.
