SNK has made quite the return this year with reviving the Samurai Shodown series. The latest entry of the legendary fighting series came out originally on the PS4 and Xbox One, and then as a launch title for Google’s Stadia. The game is slated to come to the Switch soon, and it’s bringing a very special exclusive with it.

The Switch version of the game will include a port of Samurai Shodown! 2 from the Neo Geo Pocket Color in all regions as announced during a Twitch event. It’s the first time the game has been re-released since its original release in 1999 for the handheld system. The port will be done by Code Mystics and will include a full emulated version of the game.

Samurai Shodown is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Stadia. The Switch version will release Q1 2020 and the bonus of Samurai Shodown! 2 will, as of now, be exclusive to that version.
