Samurai Shodown was revived last year to acclaim and solid sales. The sword based fighter was one fans of the genre welcomed back with open arms, and the game seems to be more than willing to give back with good post-launch support. It already received a full first season’s worth of characters, and now SNK is kicking off another season with a familiar character.

Mina Maijikina was originally introduced in Samurai Shodown 5 with the expectation that she would be a new heroine for the series. Her personality and style is the polar opposite of series regular Nakoruru and has a detached, introverted personality. Her tragic back story includes the destruction of her village by a demonic force, and in the new game sports a slightly new look with an eye patch. Mina wields a bow that has a sword in its hilt. You can check out the trailer below.

Samurai Shodown is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Stadia. A Switch version is slated to come February 25th with a PC release still in the works. Mina will come February 26th in NA and March 4th in Europe.
