Samurai Warriors 5 Final Trailer Shows Off Gameplay

The musuo title will release on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on July 27th. It is the first Samurai Warriors game since 2017.

Developer Omega Force and publisher Tecmo Koei has released the final trailer for Samurai Warriors 5, which is set to release on July 27th. The title is the the first Samurai Warriors title to release since 2017. Samurai Warriors is a spin-off of the popular Dynasty Warriors series.

The trailer shows off gameplay for several of the game’s major characters, including returning characters likes Nobunaga Oda, Mitsuhide Akechi, Nō, and Ieyasu Tokugawa. We also got a glimpse of some of the new characters, like Mitsuki and Shikansosuke Yamanaka. From the trailer, it looks like a traditional musuo, though it sports some absolutely art design.

Samurai Warriors 5 will release on July 27th on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC  in both a standard and digital deluxe edition on July 27th. The digital deluxe edition comes with the base game, the season pass, and several bonuses. You can watch a trailer for the game here:
