The trailer showcases different aspects of gameplay including ship battles, customization, and more.

Sea of Thieves is set to release in a few days, and just in time a launch trailer for the game has been revealed. The new footage showcases many different aspects of gameplay as players take to the seas as pirates in search of treasure.

What is most impressive in the trailer is the sheer variety of gameplay present in the game, from simply sailing the seas to engaging in epic ship battles, and much more. The trailer also teases a battle with the Kraken but we don’t get to see much of the creature as this is probably best experienced by the players themselves in the game. The game certainly looks like a lot of fun to play, especially with friends, and it also helps matters that the game features cross-platform support across the Xbox One and PC versions of the game.

You can check out the launch trailer below. Sea of Thieves is set to release on March 20 for PC and Xbox One.
