The game will automatically update on the Xbox One when launched, while PC users will have to get the update from the Windows Store.

After the release of update 1.0.8 for Sea of Thieves, players reported facing an issue where they were stuck on an infinite loading screen. However, Rare has found what had caused the problem and they have released a patch that will now fix this issue for both Xbox One and PC players.

Initially when players were faced with the issue, the only way to solve it was to quit the game and  then restart it. Luckily, the developer wrote on Twitter recently that they have found out the cause behind this problem. The patch is currently being rolled out for both Xbox One and PC and its download size will be 150 MB for the former and 120 MB for the latter. The update will automatically be downloaded on the Xbox One when the game is launched. PC users will have to get the update from the Windows store.

Sea of Thieves is currently available for the PC and Xbox One.
