Sea of Thieves: The Legend of Monkey Island Comes to an End with the Release of The Lair of LeChuck

The final Tall Tale of Sea of Thieves: The Legend of Monkey Island is out now. Titled The Lair of LeChuck, the third part of the Tall Tale takes players to the eponymous Monkey Island. Check out the launch trailer for The Lair of LeChuck below.

Picking up a few weeks after the events of The Quest for Guybrush, The Lair of LeChuck has players accompany Guybrush to Monkey Island. Players will have to figure out a way past the Giant Stone Monkey Head on the island as they unearth golden idols to descend into the maze of catacombs below the island.

With the release of The Lair of LeChuck, the Monkey Island collaboration with Sea of Thieves has officially come to an end. As part of the collaboration, along with the Tall Tales, Sea of Thieves also got a host of Monkey Island-themed cosmetic items, including costumes inspired by Kate Capsize, Herman Toothrot and Stan.

Developer Rare is currently getting ready to release Season 10 for Sea of Thieves, which will bring with it a host of community-centric content, including the ability to create player guilds, as well as PvE servers.
