Developer Rare has released a new video showcasing some of the new features coming to Sea of Thieves in its latest updated, due later today. The main feature of the update is the expansion of the New Golden Sands Outpost.

The newly-expanded outpost will now feature a bigger shipwright, along with a Merchant Alliance area, as well as cosmetic changes like a large statue.

Sea of Thieves is also seeing an expansion to the list of cosmetics available for players to buy. As long as players have the gold for it, they can head over to any outpost shop and check out new items in clothing, accessories, and weapons.

Paid cosmetics are also getting expanded with the new Sawbones set. This includes Sawbones-themed options for various parts on your ship, as well as armour and weapons for the pirates themselves.

Sea of Thieves is available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The game is also available as part of PC and Xbox Game Pass.
