Second Episode of Life is Strange Delayed

Well, crud.

Life is Strange1

The second episode for Dontnod’s adventure game, Life is Strange, has been delayed, Destructoid reports. Originally, when the game was announced, Dontnod had committed to each episode of the game arriving at regular and frequent intervals, to avoid the kind of maddening, momentum stalling waits between episodes that Telltale’s games are often accompanied with.

The game, which launched recently on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC, was met with good reception and sales all around, so it’s not even like it has been delayed to address many common criticisms that it might have received; Square Enix, who are publishing the game, declined to give us any more information than this, and refused to tell us when to expect the second episode as well.

Of course, this is par for the course for episodic games, so I can’t say I am that surprised. That said, if you are one of those folks who are holding out for each episode to be out before you jump in, then… yikes.
