Secret of Mana

Square Enix is releasing a remastered remake of the classic Secret of Mana in the west, for PS4, PS Vita, and PC- and, in what will come as good news to a lot of fans, the PS4 version of the game will be getting a physical release in the west, Square confirmed today on Twitter.

The North American version of the game will be exclusive to GameStop (or EB Games in Canada); the European version doesn’t seem to have any such limitations announced for its physical release. That said, the box art of the European version is decidedly inferior to the art for the North American version, as you can see for yourself below.

Secret of Mana is one of the most beloved role playing games on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The new game, which modernizes the classic with new graphics and modern production values, will hopefully let a new generation of gamers experience this game for themselves, while also giving long time fans an updated take on the title.
