When Sega announced Sega AGES for Nintendo Switch earlier this year, they also announced Sega Genesis Classics, a compilation of 50 games from the Sega Genesis (or Mega Drive, as it was known in the rest of the world) for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Why this compilation was not announced for the Switch at the time is unknown, but Sega’s at least worked to fix the mistake right away.

Today, the company announced that Sega Genesis Classics would be coming to the Nintendo Switch. And you won’t have to wait too long for them, either- it will launch this Winter digitally via the Nintendo eShop. For people who have held out for the Switch version for so long, there will be an exclusive feature for the Switch version as well- support for same screen co-op multiplayer.

Some of the very best games ever released on Sega’s venerable 16-bit machine are included in this compilation (still no Sonic 3, sadly…), so any Sega fan who wants these on the go should look at the collection. A full list of the games is posted below.
