Sega Survey Queries Respondents About Classic IP Revivals, Switch Ports, And More

Everything Sega makes would be perfect for Switch.

Atlus may be asking questions about their IP, and whether or not you want to see said IP on VR, mobile, PC, PS4, and of course, Switch, but it looks like their parent company Sega doesn’t want to be left behind on that front, either.

A new survey by Sega (which you can see for yourself here) is quizzing its respondents about classic Sega IP, such Phantasy Star Online, Shibobi, Streets of Rage, Shenmue, Sakura Wars, Shining, Super Monkey Ball, Sonic, House of the Dead, Crazy Taxy, and Yakuza; questions asked include series revivals, as well as ports for modern systems such as PS4, Xbox One, PC, and, yes, Nintendo Switch.

At this point, given how starved Sega fans are for seeing more of their classic IP, I think they will honestly take literally anything as long as there is a chance of seeing their favorite series again (it’s honestly flabbergasting how bad Sega is at handling its catalog of classic franchises). That said, I hope they all get meaningful revivals on modern consoles.
