Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor Bullshot

Monolith Productions’ Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor was one of the few stellar titles of 2014 and amazingly delivered beyond the hype. The developer has been fairly good with the post launch period as well releasing both free and paid DLC for players to enjoy.

Just how popular has Shadow of Mordor been though? Monolith recently released an infographic which indicated a range of statistics. A total of 74.6 hours have been played since launched with players slaying 5.65 billion Uruks, dominating 200 million and more than 95.6 million unique Nemeses created (with 6.6 million vendettas resolved).

More than 72 million players faced death at the hand of Uruks, which averaged 78 Uruks killed per player death and 10.7 million players avenged their deaths at the hands of said Uruk.

Overall, if you haven’t had a chance to hop on the Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor bandwagon, now’s as good a time as any to begin especially with the Bright Lords DLC out on March 10th. What are your thoughts on the game’s success? Let us know in the comments below.
