Official teaser trailer finally released after numerous leaks.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

After leaks that eventually formed a miniature pool, Square Enix confirmed that Shadow of the Tomb Raider will indeed be releasing on September 14th. It will be available simultaneously on PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC along with Steam. Though Xbox One X support was confirmed, PS4 Pro was conspicuously absent in the release. Expect support for Sony’s console regardless.

Check out the official teaser below. The Mayan/Aztec setting is even more prominent than before though how that eclipse plays into Lara’s final adventure (in this trilogy at least) remains to be seen. A full reveal for Shadow of the Tomb Raider will take place on April 27th but if you head here, you could play the game and maybe meet the developers at one of the three upcoming reveal events.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is apparently under development at Eidos Montreal and not Crystal Dynamics, which handled Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider. More information on pre-order incentives and SKUs will be available in April so stay tuned.
