Shadow of the tomb raider leaked

New information on the next chapter in the Tomb Raider Reboot series continues to come out every day, with Eidos Montreal’s own David Anfossi coming out with news that the Xbox One X will leverage its magic 4K powers to run Shadow of the Tomb Raider at 4K and 60FPS.

This news comes to us from an interview given to Electric Playground, and unfortunately Anfossi neither elaborated on the PS4 Pro, or clarified on whether this was native 4K resolution for the X or using some tricks to upscale. While he didn’t go into specifics, Anfossi mentioned a new rendering and lighting system, and promised that the game was being optimized to each platform.

The final title of what Eidos Montreal is calling the Origin Trilogy features the intrepid explorer down in South America and Mexico, taking on the wild jungles and underground flooded caves to stop the Mayan apocalypse. Are you interested in the game? Let us know in the comments below.
