Announced way back in 2017, Shin Megami Tensei 5 went completely radio silence for years afterward, before re-emerging last year, at which point it was confirmed that it would be launching some time in 2021. Now, an exact release date for Atlus’ highly anticipated RPG has been announced (though they already spilled those beans themselves not that long ago).

Shin Megami Tensei 5 is releasing exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on November 12. The story will see players traveling to an alternate dimension Tokyo, which is a post-apocalyptic wasteland full of demons to fight, but also to befriend. The new trailer details the game’s story and setting, as well as its turn based combat system, negotiation system, and much more. It’s looking typically solid. Take a look below.

More announcements and updates for upcoming games are also coming in from the E3 2021 Nintendo Direct, so stay tuned to GamingBolt for all of that coverage, and much more.
