Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance Announced, Launches June 21st

Atlus's acclaimed 2021 role-playing game returns with new content, characters and powers for Nintendo Switch this Summer.

The Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase is live, and Atlus has confirmed the existence of Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance. Out on June 21st for Nintendo Switch, it was also rated recently in South Korea for other platforms. Check it out below.

Touted as an “unknown story”, players will embark on a tale of vengeance and make decisions to change the story’s flow. New environments, enemies and characters are seemingly teased, and a new short-haired woman who can also wield the power of Demons is also featured. New powers are also showcased, alongside teases of new story content and interactions with the base game’s cast.

Stay tuned for more details, especially on the title’s potential launch for other platforms. Shin Megami Tensei 5 is available for Nintendo Switch, having originally launched on Nintendo Switch in November 2021. It sold 1.1 million copies as of December 2022 and received praise from critics.
