Developed by Streets of Rage 4 studio Lizardcube, it’s a revival of the classic franchise with a gorgeous art style and exceptional action. Check out the accolades trailer below to see what various critics have said about it.

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance brings back Joe Musashi, who battles the ENE Corp after they attack a ninja village. The classic platforming is still in place, but along with a deeper combat system, Musashi can utilize Shinobi Executions to decimate enemies.

Levels are also full of secrets, from battles against Elite Squads to Rifts, and players will discover ninja tools, Ninjutsu, and Ninpo to even the odds. Check out our review for more details.

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance is available for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. It will receive DLC content in early 2026, with Musashi battling villains from other Sega franchises, including Dr. Eggman from Sonic the Hedgehog.
