Shinobi will be the first of many dormant Sega franchises to get long overdue revivals, with Shinobi: Art of Vengeance due out this August. Ahead of its launch, the publisher and Lizardcube of Streets of Rage 4 and Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap fame continue to offer new glimpses of the game ahead of its approaching launch.

A new stage introduction video is available, offering a glimpse of the Oboro Village stage and its many varied (and gorgeous) environments. In addition to showcasing more of the game’s combat and traversal, the trailer continues to show off its gorgeous hand-drawn art, which looks quite impressive in motion. Check out the trailer below.

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance is due out on August 29 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Those who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition can access the game three days ahead of time, starting on August 26.
