Since its release on Steam earlier this week, Sifu has sold 50,000 copies on the platform, according to the game’s developers. The studio took to Twitter to announce a few new milestones for the game, including the fact that it now features a 94% positive rating on Steam, and that its subreddit has reached 20,000 users.

Alongside Steam, Sifu also made its way on to Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, and got its fourth major update in the form of the Arenas expansion. The expansion, originally announced in December, features five new game modes with 45 challenges.

Sifu had already seen a fair bit of success since its original release on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Epic Games Store on PC, with publisher Kepler Interactive revealing in March that over 2 million copies of Sifu had been sold.

Sifu had seen a number of updates since its release, bringing with them various additions to its core gameplay mechanics, like last year’s Summer Update adding new gameplay modifiers and a new scoring system, and an earlier update adding difficulty options.
