Sloclap has released a new update for Sifu, its action beat ’em up which sold more than 500,000 copies in its first three days of release. Update 1.06 provides “small tweaks” for the second level along with bug fixes for the second and third bosses. Global optimizations and crash fixes have also been implemented.
In the art and lighting department, polish and debugging has been done and there should an improvement to performance in all levels. This is far from the end in terms of post-launch support, as Sloclap will be adding accessibility options like closed captions and a high-contrast mode for PlayStation platforms. More difficulty options to make the experience both easier and harder (akin to Metroid Dread’s recent update) are also coming and Sloclap is planning additional content for post-launch.
Sifu is currently available for PS4, PS5 and PC via the Epic Games Store. You can check out our review for the game here. For more information, read our interview with the developer here.
