Skydive: Proximity Flight is available for the Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade, and allows players to simulate base jumping within the confines of a video game. It supports both the controller and Kinect so you’ll be able to guide your structure (somehow) through canyons and mountains with a wingsuit using realistic motion control gestures.
At least that’s the plan.
TopWare Interactive AG and Gaijin Entertainment enlisted the help of plenty of sky-diving professionals like Jokke Sommer, Andrey Boldyrev and Halvor Angvik to bring the experience to life, and you’ll be able to take advantage of the physics engine to pull of some sweet stunts. You’ll also be able to choose between stunt flying, free flying and even racing against up to three opponents in locations such as the Grand Canyon and Bernese Alps. It’s probably a good idea not to race them to the bottom.
