Skylanders: SuperChargers Will Introduce Vehicles To Series

Skylanders introduces another new element into the mix.

The next entry in Activision’s pioneering Skylanders series, Skylanders: SuperChargers, will be adding vehicles into the mix. The game will include a new type of hero, the eponymous ‘SuperCharger,’ and it will also include vehicular combat, with full modifications and upgrades. You can also pair a SuperCharger hero with his signature weapon, and unlock a deadly SuperCharged boost, which enhances the power of both.

Skylanders: SuperChargers will be compatible with all of the hundreds of Skylanders figures that have already hit the market in the last few years since the series first came out, so that means that all existing Skylanders can now pilot the new range of vehicles that SuperChargers brings with it. That’s not all, either, as SuperChargers itself will be bringing with it 20 new SuperChargers toys and 20 new vehicle toys.

Skylanders: SuperChargers launches this September. It will be out on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS.
