Skyrim Remastered Edition

The Elder Scrolls Skyrim: Special Edition, the long awaited remaster of Bethesda’s 2011 hit, is almost here. And PC owners excited to get the jump on playing the game can now pre-load the game ahead of its launch. Skyrim‘s remaster is now available to pre-load on Steam, at least for those of you who already own a copy of the pre-existing Skyrim.

Bethesda are in the process of adding the game into the libraries of everyone who owns Skyrim: Legendary Edition already, although they have admitted that the process is going slower than they would like. They have, however, promised to have the game added to everyone’s accounts within 24 hours. After that, Bethesda will add it in batches for players who complete their collection from now until launch.

The Elder Scrolls Skyrim: Special Edition will launch on October 28 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with a version for Nintendo’s Switch also possibly being on the way.
