Bethesda showed off The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim for the Nintendo Switch today at their E3 conference, confirming not just split Joycon functionality for it, but also Amiibo compatibility with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild amiibos. Apparently, they unlock in game Master Sword and Zelda gear- which is one way to get me to buy more amiibos, sure.

The game was not given a release date or proper title (we still don’t know if this is the Special Edition remaster, just the original, or something else entirely), but we do know that it looks pretty cool. Portable Skyrim is always going to be appreciated.

We don’t know when it launches, or any other specifics about it- but as and when they are shared, we will keep you posted, so stay tuned to GamingBolt for all the latest coverage from E3, and let us know what you think of Skyrim on Switch in the comments section.
