For those who still believe iOS is where the gaming is at, well, you’re still somewhat right.

But Thumbstar Games’ new Skyrise Runner, a “ethereal endless-runner action” title could provide some extra weight to Android. It’s now available for the platform, at the low low price of £0.69p.

Skyrise Runner features 60 missions and even more challenges, as you make your way through the forests of Skyland, collecting crystal dn pwoer-ups to surmount the game’s numerous obstacbles and obstructions.

Platforming is very much the key here, but so is morphing into an eagle. Fancy that.

For an iOS title, the game features some richly textured 3D environments and fast paced action. It also marks a significant step forward for Thumbstar in furthering their profile.

Time will tell what other games Thumbstar has on the horizon, but for now, check out Skyrise Runner for yourself if you’ve been craving some decent Android gaming goodness.
