Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time Animated Short Takes the Prequel Route

See what Sly and the gang were up to before the events of Sony's next.

Sly Cooper is back again! In the build up to the upcoming Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, releasing for PS3 and PS Vita on February 5th in North America, a new animated short has been released by Sony.

Now this is interesting because it sets up the events of Thieves in Time, showing us exactly what the Sly gang was involved with prior to traveling back in time to recover pages of the Thievious Raccoonus. With the series’ signature humour and smooth operating characters, it’s an understatement to say that you don’t want to miss it.

Sly Cooper: Thieves in time will mark the first time a title isn’t being developed by Sucker Punch Productions. The game will be handled instead by Sanzaru Games, known for porting the original games into HD as part of The Sly Collection.

Judging by the trailers though, we’ll still be getting the same awesome stealth and puzzle solving mechanics we love.
