Last year’s Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts was something of a return to form for the series, going away from an open world approach and back to a more level-based design. It was a solid title even if there were some issues. It was shortly after that CI Games announced a follow up would be coming in the form of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 this year. The game got an in-game trailer, but talk has mostly been silent on it since. Well, it seems the main reason for that is that it won’t quite make it to this year.
Talking with Well-Played, Lead Level Designer Daniel Sławiński confirmed in the interview that the game is now planning to come out sometime early next year. He said the plan was to give some extra time to make sure they are able to build on the success of the first Contracts.
Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 was announced for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It is now set to come out sometime in 2021.
