Socom DLC Revealed

On Oct. 16, 2009, Slant Six announced the official details of the Socom U.S. Navy Seals: Confrontation DLC. It is Socom U.S. Navy Seals: Confrontation Cold Front. This DLC is not yet dated but Sony just says it will come out soon. This DLC includes:

  • Snow setting where you can add snow to any map
  • New Arms Run gameplay mode which is missile launchers that you either have to activate or destroy; this depending on what side you are on
  • 5 new maps (3 of them are from the previous Socom’s). These include:
    • Uprising
    • Entrapment
    • Blizzard
    • Nightstalker
    • Vigilance
  • Gun Turrets
  • New music
  • New weapons and attachments
    • 3 new weapons
      • 6 better versions of weapons
    • 2 new weapon attachments (one being the thermal scope)
      • 5 better versions of attachments
    • 2 new grenade launcher ammo type (smoke and flash)
  • New Trophies.

The new snow maps will be Cool! Ohh the irony!

This DLC pack will come out soon available for $14.99; however, if you get it the first week this DLC is released, you can get it for only $9.99.
