The idea of transforming between different vehicle variations – traversing land, sea and air – seemed kind of rote at first, but this new GamesCom 2012 trailer showcases some of the more interesting ways that Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed puts it to use.
But that’s not all. There are power-ups, secret routes, and a myriad of expansive tracks and obstacles throughout the game. It looks to be good ol’ fashioned racing at it’s best – something which should feel even more fun when played online.
The game sees multi-platform release on November 20th.
