Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Launch Trailer: Transform and Roll Out

Sega's latest and greatest crossover racing title is primed for release.

Sega has released a new launch trailer for the multi-platform release of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, a cross-over racing title wherein players can select several franchise favourites such as Sonic, Amy Rose, Shadow and Tails along with 20 characters from titles such as Crazy Taxi, Super Monkey Ball and the recently released Wreck-It Ralph. The game boasts transforming vehicles, which adapt to the different circumstances of races, be it through space, on water or racing across tarmac. The game already has a healthy score on Metacritic, averaging in the 80s for both PS3 and Xbox 360.

Now the question remains: What is wrong with this trailer, aside from the kids playing and making odd faces to reflect the conditions they’re “immersed” in? Not much actually. But man if those kids aren’t annoying, totally unnecessary and totally disposable.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is currently out now for all major platforms. Check out the launch trailer above and see if it’s worth a buy.
