Sega’s Sonic Mania Plus, a physical release of Sonic Mania with new content, will be releasing on July 17th for the Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch. Along with the release date, an official trailer was released with new animated bits featuring Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Squirrel.

The latter two are playable characters with Mighty being familiar to those who played Knuckles’ Chaotix. Other new content includes four player competitive play (with Time Attack as an option) and Encore mode, which revamps the various zones in different ways. Time Attack will also have ghost challenges if you’re interested in pushing for the best time.

Sonic Mania Plus will retail for $29.99 to those who don’t own the game. If you have the digital version, then the Encore DLC pack will offer the new features for $4.99. It will be out on the same day as the physical release. The base Sonic Mania has also received a free patch that changes up a lot.
