Sonic Origins Plus Launches June 23rd, Includes 12 Game Gear Games

The classic version of Amy is playable in four titles, while Knuckles is available on Sonic CD. Base game owners can upgrade for $9.99.

Sonic Origins Plus

Sonic Origins Plus launches on June 23rd for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. It costs $39.99 digitally and physically, but base game owners can upgrade for $9.99. Check out the announcement trailer below.

Along with all previous DLC, the enhanced version of Sonic Origins includes 12 Sonic titles from the Game Gear era, which are emulated and playable in the Museum. It includes Sonic Chaos, Dr Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine, Sonic Blast, Sonic Drift 2, Sonic the Hedgehog Triple Trouble, Tails’ Skypatrol, Tails Adventure, and much more.

There are also new playable characters, with classic Amy available in Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Sonic CD. Knuckles is also playable, but only on Sonic CD. Those who purchase the physical edition will receive a 20-page art book and reversible coversheet with never-before-seen art.
